How do I bookmark the Dogmob.co.uk Mobile Portal?
Bookmarking saves your favourite WAP/mobile internet sites on your phone so that you can find them again later. Whilst you are in dogmob.co.uk on your mobile, you can do this by selecting the 'Bookmark', 'Add bookmark' or 'Favourites' option from your phone's menu. [TOP]

To go back to the dogmob.co.uk site, all you have to do is select the dogmob.co.uk Mobile link from your 'Bookmarks'/'Favourites' menu, which will then connect you to the dogmob Mobile Portal. If you need further help with bookmarking, please consult your mobile's user manual. [TOP]

How much does it cost to sponsor a dog?
Texting a keyword to a shortcode to get a link to dogmob content costs a one off fee of £3.00. Dogmob.co.uk does not charge users for browsing the portal. Your operator may charge you for using the mobile internet - please contact your operator for more details, as these charges vary by operator and tariff. [TOP]

Which handsets can sponsor a dog?
You can sponsor a dog with any WAP-capable handset, or any handset capable of accessing the internet. If your handset is not WAP/internet capable, you will not be able to access this service at all.

For the best experience, you should use a colour-screen handset. Check with your phone manufacturer for a detailed list of your handset capabilities. [TOP]

How can I enable my handset for internet browsing?
If your phone is capable of WAP/internet access and you are still unable to access the site then you may need to have your phones settings configured correctly. While some handsets come pre-configured when you buy them, lots of handsets need to be manually configured for internet browsing.

The settings you need are specific to your network. And depending on your handset manufacturer they may be located in a different part of your phone's menu. Usually they are included under 'connectivity' or 'internet settings.

Why did the video clip I ordered not download properly?
There are two reasons why this might happen: Not enough memory: To increase your phone memory you will need to delete some old applications.

Network connection: If you're in a poor coverage area, you may have lost your connection during the video download. Try again and if the problem persists contact contact@dogmob.co.uk [TOP]

Why am I not receiving anything when I text a keyword to shortcode?
There are occasionally delays with the Mobile Network Operators, and during high volume periods queues will often form. If you have not received a timely reply text message, please try the following:

- Check that you have space in your Inbox
- Check that you are in mobile reception
- Check that you have text in the correct keyword to the correct shortcode
- Try turning your phone off for 10 seconds

If you still have not received the text after 30 minutes, please contact contact@dogmob.co.uk if you require any further clarification. [TOP]
